Love Zone New Chapter

Step 1 

Our first step involved selecting couples with interesting and relatable love stories from across the region. This required extensive pre-interviews to find the right candidates. We then coordinated the logistics of everyone, including scheduling a week of shooting at a hotel in Kingston. The challenge was to merge the old format with fresh, new elements, which involved brainstorming sessions with the team to ensure a balance between nostalgia and innovation.

Step 2 

During production, we shifted the format from the original show, incorporating new elements like surprise questions for couples, as well as innovative shooting techniques to engage modern viewers. We worked closely with the team to rework how the show was filmed to ensure that it resonated with both the older and younger generations. This involved working with the talent, crew, and clients to bring the new direction to life.

Step 3 

The final step was ensuring the show had a modern, energetic feel. We secured Christopher Martin, One of Jamaica’s Top Reggae award winning artist, to record the opening song, injecting a youthful, contemporary vibe. After editing and producing the episodes, the show was relaunched successfully, with a new format, new guests, and a fresh appeal to the younger generation while still onouring the core of Love Zone.

Results

The launching of the new show attracted more advertisers and sponsors of major global corporations, allowing our client to secure a prime-time slot on TVJ, the most-watched television network at the time in Jamaica.
